The day… He had called her to answer all the questions lingering in her mind about his strange behavior in the past few weeks. Although he has spent 3 hrs pouring his heart out in those 5 pages he was still not fully convinced of his decision to share it with her. He could have just let it go and head home.. But something in him didn’t let him do that.. Started fiddling with his cell.. It took him a while to cover those 2 feet of distance separating him from her. She seems so close yet so far. His vocal chords start to choke. A few more minutes and he might not even be able to stand upright.. Handed over the pages to her.. He wanted to run away from there… and he did..
Dragged him upstairs to a calm corner and laid down his head on the table… Still surprised at the dare he just did.. Now for the first time he lay there with his hrt totally exposed…… Every little sound in his vicinity would make his hrt flutter.. Did she just walk in.. How angry she is gonna be.. No idea.. All he wanted was to lay there wondering will he ever be able to face her?
Its been a while now something didn’t seem right. Is she ok ? that thought make him stand up . He walked down. Hoping that she would have got upset and left..She wasn’t there where he has last seen her.. God!! where is she ??? Her belongings were still there.. He started searching for her. Opened the door and there she was. “So much”? Silence took over.. He didn’t know what to say..
He, pretending to be calm on the surface & they started talking.. About things-said and some better left unsaid. They started talking again.. Having poured his hrt out he felt so light perhaps for the first time in last so many months.. He started talking about things he has not even told to his best friend.. Amazingly the level of comfort between them has soared. He was brutally honest about whatever he was being asked.. This day was his day- his day of confession and his hrt was begining to like the new found lightness…
After talking to her for few minutes. Finally the time to bid adious.. Wished he had the power to stop and rewind the clock of time. He so much wanted to drop her homé safe. But didn’t ask.. Just cudn’t ask. The Sun was about to set. She got into a rickshaw…
He started driving behind the rickshaw. Not wanting to let her go out of his sight. There she sat quietly. Her hair flew softly as the evening wind played a melody while touching her beautiful locks. The sun has just set, paving way for this Pari-angel. Heaven played its own part innocently. It showered the sky with the most amazing display of colors. It was its duty. An angel is heading home and Heaveñ too has just nodded in approval. And then…in between those beautiful flowing hair locks the pair of most beautiful eyes appeared, she has just turned back. He could very well recognize that face.That’s her – Chuimui.
Some precious moments back she asked him if he was still optimistic about her. He didn’t know what to say. Like all other divine things on this earth matches are made in heaven. This whole thing is beyond his control. He is not sure if he had a spec of optimism left in him, but he has faith in the sincerity of his prayers, his faith in the faith of all those people who have had experienced heavenly miracles, faith in the existence of something divine.Miracles happen , One has happened and he has witnessed it. A part of his body thought to be dead has suddenly become alive again. Emotions seems to be non-existence in him are now controlling him. Things he thought he would never ever do , have been done not once bet twice…. Miracle has happened and it will happen… He has full faith … Until faith wins………………..
